Release "dev" tagged as SL99d -> "new"

May 11 1999, "dev" version of Library has been tagged as SL99d and moved to "new".

The main features of this release:

new ROOT based I/O Maker has been implemented to support user-transparent reading of xdf, ROOT-MDC2, and final ROOT files, introduced new classes StRootEvent = StEvent+ Persistency, macro bfc.C has been modified to use new I/O Maker and to make it more user-friendly and flexible.

"dev" branch becomes SL99e and will be used for development.

Former "new" SL99c is frozen.

• StEvent - modified StRun to add test of mSummary before deleting it, added initialization of mSummary
• StRootEvent - implemented on the base of StEvent plus persistency;

• StTpcDb - created a new class for electronics interface; 

• St_LSEvent_Maker - created a new maker to process laser events;
• StAngleCorrMaker - created maker for analysis of angle correlations on dst level;
• StEventMaker - new maker to create persistent StEvent;
• StIOMaker - new maker to supervise other I/O makers, all I/O makers now inherited from one abstract StIOInterFace I/O maker class what allows StIOMaker treat all other makers in a similar way and provide ability to read XDF, MDC2 and current StTree format files. StIOMaker can handle multiple input files via StFile class;

• StEbyEScaMaker - changed Clear function to default;
• StEventMaker - added gulfd for magnetic field;
• StTreeMaker - modified to provide I/O in postMDC2 format, allows to split all data into different branches which could be written in different files, each branch has own I/O mode: "r" = ReadOnly, "w"=WriteOnly, "u"=ReadWrite, "o"=DoNothing;
• StAnalysisMaker - removed files: countPrimaryTracks, summarizeEvent, tagFiller to simplify structure of Makers;
• StEventReaderMaker - fixed bug for V0 associated with Xis and added out-of-bounds checks, modified arglist in StGlobalTrack creation, make local variables static;
• StAngleCorrMaker - added filling of histogram for pairs of tracks, added new member function analyseMixedPairs to calculate denominator of correlation function, added histograms for both the numarator (real pairs) and denominator (pairs from different events);
• StTrsMaker - added protection against pointer error in StTrsWireHistogram::clear, changed magnetic field initialization to use gufld from GEANT, added mTimeShiftOfSignalCentroid, modified StTrsAnalogSignalGenetrator and StTrsSlowAnalogSignalGenerator to add delay to centroid of signal, introduecd time shift in ns, changed position of time shift in sampleAnalogSignal(), introduced Bfield units in kG from STAR database, added the member function clear() to take care of allocated memory within the event loop;
• St_geant_Maker - added c++/Fortran interface to call agsens subroutine, SetOutput added to indicate geometry;
• St_QA_Maker - added check on number of tracks in dE/dx, removed set up for two different directories, added new method ListHist, added search geant in search path for particle tables, implemented new method AddToLogYList, added new member functions: SetDefaultLogYList, ExamineLogYList and RemoveFromLogYList;
• St_dst_Maker - vertex table declaration was reverted to old version when new maker schema was introduced;
• StMinidaqMaker - modified to handle missing tables, book all reformat_new tables as 1 row;
• StPeCMaker - changed Clear function to default;
• St_evg_Maker - changed Clear function to default;
• St_l3t_Maker - defined maximum number of tracks as Nhits/20;
• St_fcl_Maker - increased number of rows for gepoint and fppoint, increased fcl_fppoint and ffs_gepoint size to be able to process MDC2 data;
• St_tpt_Maker - added protection in case IT1, fixed scope problem in make histograms;
• St_db_Maker - modified to provide data selection by defined alias of date and to suppress loading of unneeded set of parameters;
• St_stk_Maker - moved stk_stk_par into Maker,
• St_tpcdaq_Maker - added QA histograms;
• St_xdfin_Maker - modified to inherit from StIOInterFace class;

• HitsDraw.C - new macro to draw geometry and hits all together;
• bfcread.C - new macro to read events from root file created in new maker schema;

• bfc.C - modified to use new I/O Maker, added options to set chain and type of output files as parameters in bfc.C;
• bfcz.C - added ctf/mwc, added StRootEvent;
• HitsDraw.C - Polyline was replaced by PolyMarker3D, Web reference has been added;
• DrawDstHist.C - modified to has number of events in each file as input, added new method ListHist, modified to use new method available in St_QA_Maker: AddToLogYList and use new member functions introduced in St_QA_Maker: ExamineLogYList and RemoveFromLogYList;
• DrawDstHist.C, Get3Dsize.C, MarkSensors.C, bfc.C, bfcread.C, dst.C, geant.C, tpctest.C, trs.C - modified to synchronize FTPC and TPC slow/fast;

• svt/stkpar - removed due to migration to St_stk_Maker;
• global/magnetic_field - removed;
• tpc/tsspar, tpgpar, tptpar - added test version of parameters;  

• ftpc/ffs - return error flag if fcl_fppoint and/or ffs_gepoint maxlen is too small, initialize values needed for sector # calculation and sector boundary limits, modified ffs_gen_padres.F to get math constant from ftpc_math_constatnts.inc, modified ffs_hit_rd.F to simplify the setting of gepoint_h.nok and fppoint_h.nok, calculate and store sector number, modified ffs_merge_tagger.F to correct phi, delta_azi and sector boundary limit calculation, get math constants from ftpc_math_constants.inc, modified ffs_tag.F to simplify tag setting loop;
• ftpc/inc - all mathematical constants used in ftpc defined as parameters, increased size of mxmrow to be able to process MDC2 data ;
• global/svm - adjusted malloc to real dimension
• tpc/tpt - loop limit fixed, local arrays converted to dynamic (with malloc);
• tpc/tte - added possible number of points on track to the tpt_track table;
• svt/stk - suppress print out nrows=2;
