Release "dev" -> "new" tagged as SL98g
Sept. 2, 1998 (morning) ==> "dev"
version of STAR Library was tagged as SL98g
Sept. 3, 1998 ~ 16:00 ==> SL98g was released as "new"
Sept. 3, 1998 ~ 16:00 ==> version SL98h created for "dev"
This release of SL98g will have bugs fixed and then migrated to "pro"
in the next few days. It will be used for the first part of MDC.

Changes between SL98f_2 and SL98g
STAF
- change to tdm so that character values can be put in to
tables correctly
PAMS
- pams/global - in dst package, the following modules were
updated, corrected and/or finalized
- fill_dst_event_summary
- particle_dst_filler
- fill_dst_event_summary
- fill_dst_run_summary
- dst_mon_soft_filler
- dst_run_header
- pams/global/tkf module - updated to use new table names,locations
- pams/tpc packages updated:
- tcl,tfs,tpt,tss - modules had small corrections or protections put in
- tpt - sector number 1-24 was restored in tphit.row
- tpg - trigger offset parameter was put in
The parameter file $STAR/params/tpc/tpg_pars.xdf was updated along
with the corresponding package so
that it as the trigger offset value in.
Because of this fix to the geometry, you must make sure any input
data files with tpc info are processed with the corresponding version
of STAF code.
KUMACS
- Changes to PAM kumacs in pams/*domain*/kumac
- pams/global/kumac files changed to correspond to
new versions of pams code (see above)
- break up pams/global/kumac/*init.kumac and
into separate run and init macros
- init_ev0,init_egr - new values of parameters are written
over default ones which are automatically loaded
- Changes to steering kumacs under kumacs/*domain*/
- $STAR/kumacs/global/run_global now working
- Changes to BFC & UTIL kumacs

The bfc kumacs were changed so that they now don't read in
the run/params/global and run/params/svt tables in the initialization
and instead use the tables loaded by par2mem.

aliases added to setup.kumac which are needed to fill
dst_run_summary table

output data file structure changed==> now run tables are
written out at beginning AND end of run.
- New/Corrected chain variables available in BFC
- dehd - dst event header (new)
- drhd - dst run header (new)
- drsum - dst run summary now implemented correctly at
run finish

These are to be used instead of looking in bfc.kumac for examples.

- How to Run:
You can use one of the example call_bfc*.kumac files and copy
to your area and run. Or you can create your own call_bfc*.kumac
file in your area with the chain you want. To run do:
