Here are some instructions on what exists in these directories and files. I use sub-directory Pass50 as an example. If you go in there you see several (4 right now) sub-directories: All/ means all runs together R073/ means run# 073 only etc. If you cd to e.g. All/ you see 2 sub-directories and a .root file. The Drift/ directory contains drift velocily calib histos Ladders/ contains all alignment histos for ladders In Drift/ directory there are many files but here is how it works. You can click on Barrel_1(2,3).html and all drift direction histos will appear on a pad. Clicking on any of them is going to open a new re-sizeable window which will show the histo you click on (very nice feature Valery provided). In Ladders/ direct. you can do exactly the same. Also at the very bottom there are 4 text files (w/out the .h extension) which summarize the average shifts/rotations for each ladder in each barrel. u drift v -> along w normal alpha, beta, gamma are rot. around u,v,w. The booking comes from the D0 note: http://d0server1.fnal.gov/projects/OfflineCalibAlign/docs/alignment/smtbar01.ps look at page 5 where the booking is explained. Note that Eq. 1,2 there are identical to Gene's eq. 29,30 in his document.
