Response of EEMC for: gamma, electron, proton, ...

Examples of showers profiles for: gamma, electron, proton ; E=6-150 GeV

Event samples with 1 track/eve for gamma, electron, muon, pion-, proton with pt=50GeV/c, eta=1.2, phi=-90 deg,100 events/file, TTree with response and histo are at: /star/data22/MC/balewski/pp4run3/response
Spectra of energy deposits (GEANT) at various EEMC components (pres1/2, smdU/V, post, tower) for selected particles. Simulation was made with the muon.kumac under staf.

Simulation was made with single particle per event, shoot at phi=-90 deg with pT and eta as in the table. Energy in the table is calculated as E=pT*cosh(eta) [rest mass of particles ignored]. EEMC geometry with instrumented 12 sectors.

Linearity of response and energy resolution
Gaussian was fitted to tower spectra. Energy resolution sig(E)/E has two components: A/sqrt(E) and a constant B. Most of energy points were used to extract A and. (Fit could be done better ). The actual sampling fraction was used to convert fitted slope to A.
