Test of the tower calibration tool based on isolated MIP towers

Method:
- reject towers with ADC <=2 (equivalent 2 sigma over pedestal)
- reject towers with ADC>255 ( to avoid n*256 pattern)
- accept towers in the center of empty 3x3 patch
- accept towers in the center of empty 5x5 patch
- ADC spectra for accepted towers were separately accumulated for 12 eta-bins.
- calculate acceptance efficiency to see 'MIP peak' .

Example of the towers response : X= (sector-1)*5+subsector-1; Y =eta bin; Z=ADC.

Fot the event event the hits at (37,2) & (35,5) are accepted for the 3x3 patch, and only hit (37,2) for the 5x5 patch.


Left (right) columns is for 3x3 (5x5) patch. Upper plots: all ADC (black), accepted ADC (color). Lower plots: ratio of accepted hits to all hits. Gaussian was fitted just to localize the maximum. Plot is for all 20 towers at eta bin=4 (ignore the label)
