The test setup in Broohaven:

The connected readout boards:

The former test setup in Brookhaven:

- the laser, the cooling system and the FTPC are visible;

- the FTPC close to the electronic rack of which the power supplies, the VME crate for the DAQ and the NIM logic to be used for the cosmic and laser triggers are visible.

The first FTPC arrived in Brookhaven on the 21st of April 2000. The following picture shows the transportation from the assembly area to the test area.

 First FTPC with all 30 readout chambers included, before shipping at MPI. Leak tests and HV stability tests were successful.

The small Test-FTPC with only two padrows is in our lab and is used for electronics and chamber testing. The picture shows the Test-FTPC on the upper left, surrounded by parts of the gas supply and the readout electronics. Some components at the bottom belong to the laser testing system, and the rack on the right contains, among others parts, the trigger logic.
