STAR Peripheral Collisions Simulation Software


STARLight is a Monte Carlo Model for two-photon interactions developed by Spencer Klein and Evan Scannapieco. It can generate two-photon events with a selection of final states in heavy-ion collisions, and calculates cross sections. The phyiscs and the calculations are described in STAR Note 243 Some information on how to use the program is available on the web:
