Est Performances using the Est evaluator


When trying to understand the Est performances on the main vertex (MV) location, I have built some histograms to get some more detailled informations. For recollection, there is a 10% efficiency loss for primary tracks between events with the MV centered at zero and events with their MV smeared in z. I am here looking at 3 hit tracks only since this drop occurs for the first superpass.

In this ps file they are histograms for Ideal, Good and Bad tracks followed by Efficiency and Purity histograms. Such histo have been build versus the main vertex location, and the particle Pt for : The latest set of histograms are quite important since they will tell what we should expect in terms of hyperon reconstruction. These are the specific performances I was talking about in a mail some time ago. One should not that expect for the plot vs the MV z position, the Ideal plots have been corrected for double counting (ie tracks splitted in the tpc).

I used the full standard density fz file to get these results so there are cumulated over 40 events.
