Requirement:
Each readout electronics (24 total) will contain provisions for the following 7 monitors: 1 temperature of readout boards (thermistor), 1 summed voltage on readout electronics (voltage across resistor chain), and 5 currents (to be determined).

The proper functioning of the readout electronics requires temperature stability and stable input power.
Requirement:
Each readout electronics (24 total) will contain provisions to allow readout of the 34 monitors via Controls (HDLC).
Justification:
Each readout electronics (24 total) interfaces to 3 ladders (6 carrier interfaces). 27 monitor signals are routed from the 6 carrier interfaces to each readout electronics. Since each readout electronics also contains 7 monitors, a total of 34 monitor signals must be multiplexed and readout through the HDLC Controls interface on each readout electronics.
Multiplexing of 34 analog channels to a 12 bit Analog-to-Digital (ADC) converter on each of the 24 Power and Timing Boards of the Readout Electronics.
