Justification:
An integrated circuit is needed on the front end of DAQ for pedestal subtraction, 10 bit to 8 bit conversion of SDD ADC data, and zero suppression.
Status:
A document entitlied Specification for the STAR "Cluster-Finder" ASICS (Revision E, July 3, 1995 Baseline Copy) by InnovASIC, Inc. gives the specifications for the ASICs to be used by both TPC and SVT.
