The key change over previous schedules addresses the RHIC run schedule for 1999. It is anticipated that RHIC will run until the summer shutdown in a sort of `unrestricted' way, which might lead to damages in the SVT due to beam deflections. It was therefore suggested to insert the SVT during the summer shutdown.
