Synchronizing MiniDAQ and Slow Controls

Refer to the State Model Diagram to see the relation of the current MiniDAQ and Slow Controls states.

• From Run Control's menu bar, bring up the separate MDAQ and SC control windows.

• If one is in the run state, b>end the run gracefully.

• If one is in the ConfigErr or PrepErr states, try to recover gracefully with a configrecover and configure, or a preprecover and getset, respectively.

• If both are beyond the Connected state, move them to the same state, following the State Model Diagram.

• Otherwise, it is usually simplest to abort one or both, moving to the Aborted state; when both are Aborted or Connected, procede with an init, etc.
