Pion Laser

This is a short desciption of several pion events that were run through GEANT. Twelve Pion Laser events were generated by Ron Longacre and labeled laser_XXX_auau.txt, where XXX are 150, 151, 152, 250, 251, 252, 350, 351, 352, 500, 501, 502, referring to the momentum of the laser. These events were run through the full STAR GEANT and the hits on the Trigger detectors were stored in the files laser_XXX_auau.fzd. The eta-phi distributions of hits on the CTB are shown in figures 1, 2 and 3. From these figures, it is apparent that when the momentum of the laser is below 200 MeV/c, the phi vs. eta correlation is gone.
