BRB
Blue Ring Bunch - this is a flag that is set for each blue ring bunch that is full.
DSM
Data Storage and Manipulation boards. These are the boards that take in trigger related digital information used in the trigger decision.
MTD
Muon Telescope Detector
RCC
RHIC Clock and Control board - the VME board that controls the STAR heartbeat.
RS
RHIC Strobe - the 9.38 MHz clock from RHIC
TCD
Trigger Clock Distribution - The VME board that connects the trigger to the detectors.
TCU
Trigger Control Unit - the VME board that controls the STAR trigger
TDI
Trigger-DAQ Interface - a VME processor with full token memory
TS
Trigger Strobe - this is the TRIGGER Heartbeat. It is set by the RS or by a local oscillator on the RCC board. Multiple copies of this signal are available on the platform.
VPD
Vertex Position Detector
YRB
Yello Ring Bunch - this is a flag that is set for each yellow ring bunch that is full.
