These two plots were produced looking at the pre-GSTAR output. k0k0 correlation have been introduced and this is basically just a sanity test that the codes all work. I look at 500 events from the mid-peripheral class of events.
I use the StHbtGStarReader - modified to accept lambdas and k0s. Then I run the StHbtMaker selecting HBTv0 pairs. All the v0s (nearly) pass the cuts by definition.
Things look OK I suppose! The fact that I don't get exactly the same number of K0s/event is slightly puzzling to me at the moment - Looking into this..
The two plots are for calculation q-invariant and q-vec. I guess the qinv is still not normalised correctly. However they seem to produce the same shape curve (the binning is the same for each plot). There seems to be a VERY slight ripple around q=0.1. Should I expect this? Given that its perfect data I was expecting a perfect plots and this seems to be above statistics. Maybe I'm just showing my HBT ignorance.
I also looked into the p-/\ correlation to check that the /\ information was being passed on OK. The qvec looks correct but something gets messed up in the qinv correlation. I don't think its me because the qvec looks OK and I'd be suprised if I messed up in such a way that only one correlation worked, but then again I wouldn't bet my life on it! I'm looking at the same input events as for the K0 study.
