		• At RHIC we are using lots of computers (~50,000 Si95) o We also use disks o Many (~50 Tbytes) o We also have networking o Mostly Gbit Ethernet where throughput is critical o And mass-storage o ‘Only’ 1.2 Pbyte capacity so far • Next year we’ll be using more computers o Growth for STAR: ~ o And more disk o Even bigger growth • The year after next we’ll use yet more . . . • See next 20 slides for subtleties
