Hi Jamie, the scaler board #3 contains a matrix of populations of various bit patterns for all bunch crossings, integrated over the whole run. It is possible to recover from it probability how often BBC East.West and FPD bits were set to one in the same bunch crossing, run by run. It worked well for last two weeks of pp data taking or perhaps even earlier. I'm not sure I know how for STAR events recover cases when trigger word 0x2000 has been overwritten by FPD to 0x2003, but based on board #3 data one can probably find out the true prescaling for STAR minbias events with recorded trig=0x2000. Is this kind of solution sufficient? We will be facing this more and more as the trigger system increases the detectors that it uses. ------------------------------------------------------------- Visit this STAR HyperNews message (to reply or unsubscribe) at: http://www.star.bnl.gov/HyperNews-star/get/highpt/511/1/1/1/1.html
