    Dear STAR Collaborators,

I would like ask for your attention on a coming important event already
announced in Tim's Email last week-end. : The ITTF project second review
will
occur on June 3rd and 4th a LBL. The review will be in the B50 Auditorium
on June 3rd and 4th. The 'Preservation Hall Annex' has been reserved
for the
afternoon (the 4th) from 1:30 to 5:00 for the executive session.

As for the preceeding review, the committee will be presided by Rene
Bellwied
from Wayne State University. I would like to thank him for the excellent
job done
last time and extend my appreciation for his renewed commitment and
support.
I would also like to thank all the members of the review committee
for accepting
this task and, by their presence, re-iterrating their interrest in the
project.

This second review would be not possible without its head, Claude
Pruneau and
the ITTF team effort as well as without the effort of the testers.
Thanks to all for your
work and time, past, present and future.

A web page providing documentation and background information is
being
assembled and now available from the S&C meeting page
    http://www.star.bnl.gov/STAR/comp/meet/
under the reviews section. More documentation will be added as this week
develops.

Last but not least, we hope to see you there and count on your
participation at the
review as your feedback, approval and long term support is a crucial
component to
the success of this project. It is my firm conviction that together, we
can achieve this
important transition and bring STAR Physics to the next level of quality
and
diversity .

Thank you for your time and attention,

--
