Summary of Offline QA Shift Duties - 2004
- Review in detail the set of histograms for the
Offline QA Shifts for the following types of data:
- Real Data Production (highest priority); typically only a few percent of the
total DST production with 1-2 file sequences or 'jobs' per Experiment
Run ID number being the minimum requirement.
- Monte Carlo Data Nightly Tests
- Periodically (every 1-2 hours) monitor the DST production status
and report problems to the production staff (Lidia
Didenko and Jerome Lauret) by sending email to the 'starprod-hn'
hypernews forum.
- Write a useful and informative Offline QA Shift report using a
web-based
form
noting especially any and all suspected problems with
the detectors, calibrations, reconstruction or production.
The report will be archived and the summary
sent to 'starqa-hn' hypernews automatically.
- Check "examined" for all real data production and nightly Monte Carlo
tests runs you examined while on shift.
- Notify the appropriate experts and/or the QA contacts
for any and all suspected problems with the detectors, calibrations,
reconstruction or production.
