0-Iteration - raw spectra for all channels for sector 5-8

  • events from the selected runs with TPC in the data were added together, runList
  • any minB triggered events are used (fast & slow), total 1.5M accepted eve
  • Goal-1: look for pathologies & DB inconsistency
  • Goal-2: fit slopes for SMD strips
    Procedure:
    * g[ch/GeV]= -760/slope, from fit of exponential to ADC-ped [40,100]
    * for stripID > 270 assume gain=30000 ch/GeV

    Summary of encountered problems:

  • New discovered strips w/ broken optical fiber:
    * confirmed: 06U033-37
    * my speculation: 05V057, 06V265, 08V216, 08V257
  • ped/FEE jump/failure not recorded in DB: 06V199, 07U228 08U203, 08V081, 08V201,08V158

    * note, strip 08V203 was working at the beginning of pp200 run so we hav slope, but it was dead at the end - or ped was wide - needs investigation , all dead found from pedQA <
