Timing scan for MAPMT with beam
  • events were taken with miniDaq on January 18 --> see eLog #539
  • runs 547-562 : fifo & delay changed for sector 5
  • runs 563-578 : fifo & delay changed for sector 6
  • runs 579-588 : fifo & delay changed for sector 7 & 8
  • used pixel #8 from all 12 MAPMT's in every box. Based on latest DB records the following strips/pre/post were used. Notation 'P'=pre1, 'Q'=pre2, 'R'=post
    char *S1L[nTw]={"U070","U072","U074","U076","U078","U080","V070","V072","V074","V076","V078","V080"};
    char *S2L[nTw]={"V057","V059","V061","V063","V065","V067","V170","V172","V178","V180","V182","V184"};
    char *S3L[nTw]={"U057","U059","U061","U063","U065","U067","U170","U172","U178","U180","U182","U184"};
    char *P1L[nTw]={"PD01","PD04","PD07","PD10","QB05","QB11","QD01","QD07","RB02","RB05","RB08","RB11"};

  • For each strip the ratio of number of entries for raw ADC [250,350] to total number of events was used as measure of 'being timed in'. (Pedestals were not subtracted because DB is empty)
  • X-axis is in (ns). Formula delay/ns = F(digDelay) + 106*(11-fifo).
    Where F(0)=0, F(333)=12, F(666)=27, F(999)=50 ns, according to Gerard measurement, see eLog #542
