In order to isolate hardware from software problems each of the problem tubes above were tested again with the following procedure:
  • Turn on HV to only 1 problem tube
  • Pulse LED for appropriate subsector
  • Identify FEE channel with LED spectra

    The results of these tests:
    1. 10TA 7,8 swapped (Need to change CW base in HV PMT map?)
    2. 10TD 5,7 swapped (Jim verified cables were swapped and now correct)
    3. 12TA 7,8 swapped (Need to change CW base in HV PMT map?)
    4. 1TA 4,5 swapped
    5. 1TD 2 -- NO SIGNAL
    6. 3TE 5,7,11 -- NO SIGNAL
    7. 5TD tow 3 (PMT10 ) very low gain LED signal -- see it by hand and in gain matching but not in this test?
    8. 5TD tow 10 (PMT3) NO SIGNAL
    9. 6TB 4,7 -- NO SIGNAL
    10. 6TC 9 -- NO SIGNAL
    11. 6TD 10 -- NO SIGNAL
    12. 7TC 7,9 swapped (Jim verified cables were swapped and now correct)
    The remaining tubes had LED signals in the correct fee channels. It is most likely that these signals were not seen because the LED amplitude was set too high or low for that individual tube. The Database FEE channel assignment has not been checked for these channels yet.

  • Test by hand 1TA 4-7
  • Run program on all of CRATE 5 (7TD-9TC)
