  • Tag all Towers in 5TA-8TE which should not be included in average. In total 21 towers were rejected. They can be lumped into the following categories:
    1. No 2003 Calibration -
      5TC12,5TD04(PMT9),5TD10(PMT3),6TA12,6TB04,6TC09,7TB09,7TD08,8TD04,8TD08,8TE04,8TE12
    2. No Led Response in Time Ordered Tests -
      5TD10(PMT3),5TE03(PMT10),6TB04,6TB07,6YC09,6TD10
    3. GUI lists as "BAD" (ie Red) -
      5TE03(PMT10),7B09,7D08,7E07,6B04,6B07,6C09,6D10,6D11
    4. Review of Spectra reveal sticky bits or abnormal spectrum -
      5TD10(PMT3),5TE03(PMT10),6TA03,6TA07,6TB04,6TB07,6TC09,6TD10,7TB09,7TD08,7TE07,8TB07,8TD04
  • Find Error Weighted Average of Remaining Good Tower slopes in 5TA-8TE for each ETA bin (bin = 1 for Tower =1 for eta = 2, bin = 12 for Tower =12 for eta =1 ). The resulting average slope spectrum is very similar, though not exactly the same, as the initial analysis of HVset B. Value -0.22 will be used for the "goal" slopes in ETA BIN 3 when adjusting HV.

    Slope Summary File here . Contains Eta bin slope averages and projected Gain changes for each tower.

    HVset_D Voltages were calculated using the above slopes and Eta bin averages.
    HV summary file for HVsetBC2D here . Contains Tower,Tube,slope,gain change and HV sets. A Flag is given to each tower which describes the status.

    FLAG Description
    1 Tower was calibrated in 2003 run -- HV NEVER CHANGES
    -1 Tower in 5TA-8TE but not calibrated by 2003. Slope still deviates by more than 10% from ETA bin average -- New HV calculated
    10 Slope for this tower is within 10% of Eta Bin Ave
    -10 Dead Tube - slope==0/abnormal spectrum/sticky bit -- HV stays the same
    0 Tower located outside of 5TA-8TE and slope deviates by more than 10% from ETA bin average -- New HV calculated.
