New QA plots for Jet Patches - Sowinski

I have added spectra to EEmcQA2 that we can use to study the jet patches. The histograms are based on DSM data, in particular taking inputs to DSM level 1 to form jet patch sums that exist only inside this level. Jan will add these to the online Panitkin plots.

At this point I only had AuAu data to work with. The following plots are from about 1/2 of run 5082056 a 200GeV run.

The first page is of the 6 jet patch sums numbered by the crates they come from 1->6. Note the pedestals are 1 channel wide. The ped channel is listed in the title block. It looks like the average value for a jet patch in AuAu central is ~250 above ped. The scale is .24GeV in Et so central events are depositing ~60GeV in a patch

The next set of plots is the frequency that each of the 6 patches passes the thresholds. Note these are software thresholds chosen to match what we expect in the p-p run. The threshold values are displayed in the title of the plots. The first is for events below threshold, the second th0, the 3rd th1 etc. The last is the frequency that events pass th0 in both of 2 adjacent patches.

The next set of 6 plots is the ADC spectrum for the summation of each pair of adjacent patches.

The last set of 6 plots is the correlation of the ADC spectrum between each pair of adjacent jet patches.
