We used our nose to smell cinnamon and applesauce. We mixed them together to create dough and then used the dough and leaf cookie cutters to make our shapes.

They had to dry for a few days and our classroom smelled so good. We checked them each day turning them so they would dry completely.

They sorted, named, and glued their Fruit Loops in color rows.

We use and upsidedown colandar and artificial flowers.

This is a great activity to build small muscles in the hands. The children select a flower, pinch the stem, and push it into a hole. When the holes are full we have a centerpiece.

Growing our caterpillars - we have been documenting the changes from the very tiny caterpillars we received to our current chrysilides. We may have butterflies when return on Monday.

Look at our classroom poster with your child and have them tell you what they know.
