hi slow controls folks...
TOF has a simple problem and we need your help a.s.a.p...
BTW i tried and tried but couldn't find an email address for
"Bill Wendt" (sp?) whom i'm told might be the guy to help me here...
could any one of you guys forward this message to him too?
last run dennis had set up the CTB HV GUI etc so
that there were default pVPD HV values defined. in this case
the shift crew just clicked pVPD ON or pVPD OFF and
life was good.
these settings have apparently disappeared since the
last run, and our six default pVPD voltages are all zero now.
this means some extra hassles for the shift crew, as they
have to manually 'slide-up' our voltages each time they're
powering up STAR after a new spill... the additional
problem is that, to save time, right now i've just asked them
to put all these at 2kV, which aren't really the values
we want....
so, can someone there revive the definitions of
pVPD default HV values in the SC gui(s) the shift uses?
the values we want are:
pVPD ch. 1440 sl/ch # HV value (V)
-------- ------------ ------------
1 (3/15) 1800
2 (4/15) 1927
3 (5/15) 2011
4 (6/15) 1764
5 (7/15) 2296
6 (8/15) 1886
note the 1440 cr/sl values are unchanged since
last run....
thanks in advance! take care,
bill
p.s. i have a few add'l questions, but they can wait
until this particular problem is fixed...... thanks again
