o.k....
i do see tofr hits in the latest data.... not great ones though...
you'll see what i mean by looking at the attached GIF.

upper frame: TDC hit pattern (i.e. counts vs ch #)
        black: all TDC hits
        red: those TDC hits accompanied by an in-range ADC hit in same evt

upper frame: ADC hit pattern (i.e. counts vs ch #)
        black: all ADC hits
        red: those ADC hits accompanied by an in-range TDC hit in same evt

summary:
pvpd looks great.
except for the 5 missing cells and the missing fee board - TOFp looks good.
TOFr has lots of ADC hits not accompanied by TDC hits
        -> threshold too high?
and lots of TDC hits not accompanied by ADC hits
        -> huh? that's strange.

anyway there is certainly data in TOFr, which i will look
into in more detail on the laptop today/tonight. e.g. these definitions
of hit/not hit require adc/tdc software gates (clearly), which may
be a bit off at the moment... its possible i also have a mapping
problem, which of course would also confuse this kind of plot..

sorry for the confusion. more info when available...
