Hi again,
RHIC lost beam shortly after the previous message but there were no
anomalous currents at STAR. Chuck reported at the 10 o'clock meeting that
RHIC was very concerned about a number of beam dumps that had occurred in
the last week since they were well outside excepted bounds for current in
the detectors and were in danger of seriously damaging some detector
systems (not STAR). So maybe we should not think about changing trip
limits until RHIC settles down.
