if i understand you, this i know - it's what the shift crew
has been doing - or do you mean one can load *default* values
via the gui? (that'd be a feature i wasn't aware of....)
it's the default values that we're interested in setting
(right now semi-permanently) -> i.e. the ones that the gui automatically
brings all 6 voltages to when the crew clicks only the "pvpd on" from the
main panel (like last run)....

i'll try to ring you up tomorrow during the day (since i have a related
but somewhat less-critical question too)... but if you can reboot
the crate whenever after that we could ask the shift crew to do a test
power-up of the pvpd hv using solely the 'on' button to see if jumps to the
default set... that's all we're looking for - thanks again!
