Hi, Bill:
There are two ways of sending pVPD and TOFr signals to trigger,
1) to CDB board where we can put in all three individual signals
(pVPD east, west, TOFr OR)
2) Send one signal from the AND of pVPDs and TOFr which can be
   1.2us after the interaction.
We can always do the second option since we have about 800ns to
spare. So there will be a trigger regardless of the timing. It may
not be as neat as we would like!
I thought we have only 4 days between today's access and Wednesday
access, so if we discover any problem, we can fix it in the next access.
Dick Majka helped me check everything and we found that 3 discriminators
are not good (TOFr 706) and one channel had both input and output
cables plugged into the output of the disciminator (this was fixed).
We have ~2hours more left, should we try to move to other discriminators
to see if this fixes it??
We also put all the cables in and send the TOFr OR signals to
CDB board and RICH scaler. The noise rate is about 200Hz. Since
the signal is in the CDB, we can check offline to see the trigger
rate, timing and bias. If we don't want to do that today, I can
go back now and unplug the cables. Starting from next Wednesday,
we may have access only every two weeks which means we will have
only one more access before switch to pp run.(?)
Thanks!

i would prefer that we make any TOFr mult cabling additions during this
wednesday's access, when all of us will be together out there
and we can set this up in a calm and collected manner.

feel free to run whatever tests of the pVPD->trigger path
that you want. this is a crucial first step. if the
pVPD triggering can't be made to work then there's no sense
in adding all the tofr cabling... its a necessary pre-requisite

all i'm saying is let's take this step by step.. thanks!
