dear tof experts -- hvmon has now an emulation mode which should be run
when the HVSys unit is physically disconnected. This mode reads the
current hvmap and assumes all set/read voltages are 0.
Make sure you run "hvmon status" to check whether the emulator is
running and do a "hvmon stop" to kill it after you switched to normal
operations (that is, when HVSys supply is back on). Use "hvmon start" to
continue its normal monitoring mode.

examples of emulation:
[tofp_at_tofpdaq hv]% hvmon
Usage: hvmon <start|emul|status|stop>
[tofp_at_tofpdaq hv]% hvmon emul
Warning: only use this when HVsys is physically switched off
[tofp_at_tofpdaq hv]% hvmon status
tofhv-Monitor is not running
tofhv-NoMonitor (pid 21211) is running...
