Subject: TOF configuration file
Hi Bill and Jim,
Jeff has set up a configuration file for the TOFr trigger. I have no way
to know whether these are the correct thresholds for the BBC. Is this what
Bill used in the testEMC configuration last night. Are they the same
thresholds we are using in ppMinBias? I would think they should be if we
want to have any hope of determining the trigger cross section. The BBC
has been retuned since the dAu run and I think we should use the same
thresholds in all pp physics triggers, the PMD test trigger being the
exception.
One other consideration. The trigger rate was 1/400 the BBC coincidence
scaler rate. This means below ~32kHz we don't saturate DAQ. Do we want a
ppTOF_minbias configuration with minbias prescaled by 5k for lower
luminosity running?
Cheers,
Geary

Subject: Re: Current status of configuration files
I have set up the productgion trigger "ppTOF". This has one trigger:
ppTOF --> BBCE + BBCW + BBCtac + TOF
And only 4 thresholds are set:
BBC deltaT max = 346
BBC deltaT min = 166
BBC tac max = 225
BBC tac min = 10
Which is copied from the configuration set up by Zhangbu
