Simulation study for the Au-Au collisions at 200 GeV for the iTPC geometry model devTX


Below are the two dimensional plots showing the pT vs. η distributions for the primary tracks for Monte Carlo generated and reconstructed samples. For the below reconstructed primary tracks nHits > 15 cut is applied, because this so far is just to have a look at the distribution and select the η range acceptable for the detector.

The above pT distributions yield the following efficiencies for the primary vertex reconstruction for nHits > 15 and length > 30 cm cases. The blue vertical like shows the turn on point (65 MeV) and is used as a cut for the efficiency vs η plot.
