Summary of Offline QA and Production Monitoring Shift Duties
- Review in detail the set of histograms and scalers for the
Offline QA Shifts for the following types of data:
- Real Data Production (highest priority; typically about 10% of the
total DST production with 1-2 file sequences or 'jobs' per Experiment
Run ID number)
- Fast Real Data Production
- Monte Carlo Data Nightly Tests
- Monte Carlo Data Production (e.g. Mock Data Challenge runs)
- Real Data Nightly Tests (currently not being run)
These are listed in suggested order of priority.
- Periodically (every 1-2 hours) monitor the DST production status
and report problems to the production staff (Lidia
Didenko and Jerome Lauret) by sending email to the 'starprod-hn'
hypernews forum.
- Periodically (every 1-2 hours) monitor the QA production status
and report problems to the QA experts by sending
email to the 'starqa-hn' hypernews forum.
- Write a useful and informative report using an ASCII text
template or online web
page (to be available soon)
noting especially any and all suspected problems with
the detectors, calibrations, reconstruction or production.
Submit your ASCII text report to 'starqa-hn' hypernews via email or using the
web page when available.
- Notify the appropriate experts and/or the QA oversight team member on
duty for any and all suspected problems with the detectors, calibrations,
reconstruction or production.
