- do a "Master Reload" from
the tower top level or detail GUI (default is
"unstaggered" mode). This is easiest approach but takes some time
since Master Reload does a reconfiguration of all crates (along with
redownload of all LUT's)
- if "Master Reload" has (repeated) difficulty for some tower crates,
action at the lower level individual screens of affected crates can be
employed but then subsequently
require the sequential actions: "load", "write", "read", "calc LUT",
"write LUT" to accomplish the full reload of the individual crate.
- a soft reset of the FPGA may be helpful (popup window from "resets"
in individual crate screen)
- a hard "reset" reprograms all FPGA's to power up value and hence
must be followed by complete reconfiguration and LUT download as
per a power cycle (e.g., as in "2" above) - careful, is expert operation
- if any tower FEE crates have tripped off, a "Master Reload" (or its
equivalent at crate level) is required after resetting the LV power
- when in doubt, consult an EEMC expert!
