The information on the pages in this section "Operation Guide & Expert Info" is essentially a web-based version of the hard copy notes (originally written up by Jim Sowinski) normally kept around the EEMC slow controls computer in the STAR control room. In its present incarnation, various corrections and updates to reflect current operations mode have been applied, links inserted, etc. ... while still not a complete guide, hopefully it is a useful document.

In general, most pertinent information and descriptions/procedures for operation of the EEMC detector by STAR shift crews is given via the other "EEMC OPERATIONS" screens and links you see to the left of this text, although some information in these "Operation Guide & Expert Info" sections will be referred and pointed to.

When in doubt about procedures, or presented with seemingly unsolvable problems and etc.
