Requirement:
AIR DUCT requirements at each end of the SVT SUPPORT STRUCTURE are given in Table V. These DUCTS attach to the SVT LIGHT PLATES at each end of the SVT SUPPORT STRUCTURE. The SVT must have its own AIR CONDITIONING system.

Justification:
AIR flow through the SVT is required to provide surface cooling of the Silicon Drift Detectors. The STAR AIR CONDITIONING is inadequate for SVT use.
