TOFp:
So we ran last night without TOFp LV and HVSYS. Did we get CAMAC DMA
errors? They took several 100k min bias last night but TOF was not
included in the run. I think there was no problem other than the shift
crew imagined there was a problem since they were unfamiliar with run
control. (They were also trying to run lasers without the lasers turned
on.) In any event they put TOF into the run when I came in at 7:15 an pp
min bias with TOF in ran fine. They took about two runs of 25k. However
there was only beam in one ring all this time so we were triggering on
noise so don't be surprised if there are no TOFr hits.
The next collisions are not yet scheduled. I'll let you know the next time
collisions are scheduled. I will leave the TOF system powered as it is now
unless someone wants to turn things on or off until the next collisions.
