maybe other order?

i.e. pitch sc(9)=sc(10)=1 first, and for those evts passing that
cut, then check all six pvpd TDCs.

and the tdc cut can be a bit tighter: say [980,1020] since the
strobe values the these chs are generally about:
        1006 996 1010 991 990 999
