hmmmm. this started at ~4:20am (zoran sleeping?)
and it was in the middle of a spill
(we had behaved fine in previous runs in the same spill).
maybe some reboot of some daq vme thing was needed too?
(no note in the shift log on any of this yet - grrrrr)

3rd time this run something like this happened (we get
booted but the problem wasn't on our side)... sigh

a spreadsheet might be a bit much just to describe the effects
to startrg. a few sentence summary would go just as far...
how about:
days 24-49, all tof systems running fine.
snow
days 53-55, lots of email traffic about new L2 & DAQ issues.
day 53, our data looks wierd, #'s make no sense
day 54-55, we take reasonable-looking data but at
a fraction of the expected rate. i.e. tof
"missing" for ~3/4 of the star events.
days >60, all tof systems running fine again. tof not missing
star events any more...
last night (early day 66), tof had been running fine, but
just after 4 am started 'going red' under run control.
tof detectors and rack equipment show no problems.
how's that? hasta
