This site is the home of the STAR-SSD, its primary goal is to provide information to operate the detector and to analyse its data.

The detector was build by three laboratories: Subatech (Nantes), IReS (Strasbourg) and WUT (Warsaw).
For information on the design and the production of the SSD consult the Hardware, Prod.DB, Documents sections.
