The STAR MIT group was
recognized this week for their work in incorporating a cluster of Apple
computers into the larger STAR grid computing
effort. In particular, effective collaboration between MIT and BNL STAR
members led to extending the STAR job-scheduling infrastructure to include
the MIT-Apple cluster, which now is looking to increase its computing
capacity.

the entire STAR site, will be posted today as a "Controlled area".
This means that no one may go out to the STAR site unless their C-AD User
